Boats at Christmas

Back in the last decade, YachtPals published a little Christmas poem just for fun, and to have some text to separate a collection of photos from lighted boat parades.  As sometimes happens (and I would not have played so fast and loose with the rules of rhyme and meter if I'd known it might):  This silly bit of verse has become much more popular than I could have imagined, and has been reprinted with (and without) permission in magazines, newsletters and Christmas cards, recited at yacht club parties, and is once again helping to clog email boxes around the world.
